Welcome.I'm Darren Dale, and for the past ten years I've worked in the field of photography in one role or another. From my start shooting Bar & Bat Mitzvah's with an old Canon film camera, to working as a photojournalist shooting the St. Louis Rams & Chicago Bears on the latest professional digital equipment, I've kept up with the times. I'm a published travel photographer and photojournalist, and have experience with portrait and landscape photography. For the last several years I've been living and working in north Atlanta. I'm still mostly focusing on portraiture, especially my passion for working with musicians and other creative people. I also do wedding and other special event photography (such as Bar & Bat Mitzvah's, Confirmations, etc) with a photojournalist's eye, forever capturing the highlights of special days. Of course, sometimes there are jobs that you just can't categorize. If you have that kind of need, get in touch. If it's not something I can help you with, I'm sure I can help you find the right person for you. I've been around, and I know the kind of competition there is out there for photographers today. Today's consumer has more choices than ever before when it comes to selecting a photographer, and the variety of styles and options can be mind-boggling at times. A good photographer will be able to walk you through the differences between those styles and options, and should always be willing to work with you to make sure that the vision and emotion you were looking for comes through. With the explosion in good quality consumer-level digital cameras it's becoming easier and easier for anyone to take good snapshots. In today's world it doesn't take a photographer to take pictures anymore. However, it still takes a skilled photographer to take those pictures and make them tell an important story: yours. Before you leave, make sure to check out my Facebook Page (which has information on my fine-art work, special offers, discounts, and even chances for free sessions or prints!) as well as my personal photoblog, A Photographic Journal. You can also follow me on Twitter as @DSDPhoto. By the way, most any photos you see on my website are available for purchase either as prints or digital files, both for personal and commercial use. The images I have posted are low-resolution files, meant to transfer quickly over the internet. The original files are of a much higher quality, and I'd be happy to show you the difference. |
